by Laetitia Wong

You won’t be green-eyed for much longer – Just check out how models such as Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr and Behati Prinsloo pull off their model-off duty looks!

1. Jump into Jumpsuits!

No need to worry about this hot weather. It’s Singapore, it’s always going to be hot, and I think it’s going to probably be this way till…well… Don’t get your hopes up. But a jumpsuit is so versatile – From lunch dates with the BFF to dinner dates at swanky hotel restaurants with a jazz bar to boot! Just a little tip, make sure yours are of good mesh, lest you sit and the zipper at the side or the front creates a sort of folded ‘ponch’. Not pretty.

2. French tunics: Trés chic!

It’s summery, it’s adorable. what’s not to love about it! Fans of tunics usually opt for light breezy materials; and hey, there’s no need for any mix and matching, which saves a ton on your morning routine.

3. Go Boho, but do it right

Style inspiration includes Vanessa Anne Hudgens, Lauren Conrad, Nicole Richie and Isabel Lucas. These bohemian goddesses got their styles down to a T. If you’re feeling especially motivated, check out a couple of pictures from the Coachella wave, starting from early 2000s – You’d see fashion never really changes, just recycles.

4. 50’s stripes

Sweeney Todd’s By The Sea look – Helena Bonham Carter was a seaside inspiration to us all. Need we say more? Just pop on a retro pair of shades with an off-the-shoulder monochrome striped top with some skinnies and jewelled flats. Picture, perfect.

5. The statement white top

Blouses, sheer cream tops with an adorable tube top underneath, it’s a delightful colour for people of all skin tones – Just head on over to H&M or Forever 21, the white tops there are not only adorable, but affordable as well. Check them out!
