Crimson Peak’s Jessica Chastain is impeccable

She’s one of the few natural redheads who’s managed to rock her famous auburn hair on the redcarpet (wow, that’s alot of red in one sentence!), usually dolled up in an old Hollywood glam style. Jessica Chastain, 38, who recently hit it big in theatres with her portrayal of the deranged and mad-with jealousy Lucille Sharpe alongside Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska in Guillermo Del Toro’s thriller-horror box office debut, Crimson Peak.

The movie was absolutely fantastic, but don’t take it from us, go check it out yourselves. Currently in theatres, the film is drenched in an aplomb of colour, tension and sexual mystery. But that’s not all, Chastain’s usual lovable disposition was completely obliterated in her potrayal of one-half of the incestuous relationship she has with on-screen brother Thomas Sharpe (played by Hiddleston), practically giving us the chills and utterly exceeding our expectations.

She debuted a stunning display on the red carpet last Tuesday evening, dressed in a plunging Erdem Resort 2016 frilly frock, her hair done up with the usual retro wave, and kept her shoes to a matching pair of classy black Louboutins.

Sure, we’re envious of those long thin pins, but that arm that Hiddleston’s got around her waist? Yeah, that takes the cake.
